Even though the president has a lot of power to influence the future, there is One who has much more power to influence the future. He has the power to shape everything about the future. He has no limits in His abilities to do as He pleases. Today we are going to examine the "state of the union" (according to God) of Israel in the days when the profit Amos lived. We will seek to compare God's judgments of Israel with what judgments we might expect in today's world.
